Chris Robinson Creates a Fantastical World for Nicki Minaj in “Moment For Life”

Drake and Nicki Manaj goin’ to the chapel

Just three days before Christmas 2010, Chris Robinson and his on-fire crew shot Nicki Minaj’s “Moment for Life” video featuring Drake.  Robinson personified a truly celebratory feeling at their larger than life mansion location in Beverly Hills.  Says Chris, “Our goal was to take the idea of classic fairy tales to always ending happily ever after and connect it with Nicki’s sentiment to have this, ‘Moment for Life.'”

Drake breathed his own creative vibes into the video by channeling his own personal experiences to create a realistic characters within the video.  “Both Nicki and Drake have great acting ability and I think they’re ready for some feature work,” says director Chris Robinson.
